Kezia Obama in partnership with Gala Bingo will be launching a new online bingo charity game. This falls in line with Gala Bingo’s objectives to raise funds for Sue Ryder Care. Mrs. Obama is a Bingo mad fan who hails from Bracknell in Berkshire, the game will be called ‘Mrs Obama’s Bingo’and went live as she flew out to meet her stepson, President-elect, Barack Obama. She will be joining him and his family in Washing DC for the inauguration ceremony which takes place on 20th January 2009. Mrs. Obama said that she was delighted to have been able to assist Gala Bingo with their fund raising efforts for Sue Ryder Care and believes that this is a very positive way to celebrate the inauguration of her stepson. She was also excited about seeing him in Washington again. These games take place on the Gala Bingo website every weekday between 8 and 9pm and weekends at 7 – 8pm, in the City Club. Every ₤1 spent on tickets sales in these games will see 10p going to Sue Ryder Care. The entire Gala Coral Group Selected Sue Ryder as their charity of choice in July 2008. This was after an employee vote showed huge support for this particular charity. They have pledged to raise ₤1 million by the year 2010, over an eighteen month period. Paul Woodward the CEO at Sue Ryder Care was delighted with the fact that Mrs. Obama was keen to lend her support in the Gala Bingo fund raising efforts, and is hoping that loads of people get online and join in thebingo fun. | ||
